What is Spam?

Spam, aka junk email, refers to email promotions or advertisements (and scams) sent to hundreds of email addresses at once. These addresses are almost exclusively for people who have not requested the promotion. In the second quarter of 2006, 80-85% of incoming email was "abusive email".
