How long does it take to build an Internet Starter Website?
The Internet Starter Website process generally takes anywhere from 3 to 5 weeks. Of course, this is highly contingent on a number of factors, including your response time, the number of revisions that are required, how quickly required materials are provided to Treefrog, etc. Adjustments to our typical process and timelines can be accommodated if you need a faster turnaround. What is the process of building an Internet Starter Website?
Upon receipt of all the required materials (i.e. your agreement, deposit, content, etc.), we then set up an initial design meeting or conversation to talk "look and feel" for the website. From there, it generally takes about 2 weeks to complete your initial design concept for the site. Then we make any necessary revisions, based on your feedback. Upon final approval of the design, Treefrog then programs the design and sends you a development site to review before going live.
Are there any other costs associated with building a website?
Besides the initial website build cost, it's important to budget for ongoing site maintenance (a.k.a. Webmastering) and hosting costs. During the development process, the only extra cost to be aware of is the cost of stock image purchases that may be used in the site design. Your designer will always make stock image recommendations, as well as giving you the opportunity to provide your own imagery. If you do decide that you would like to use a stock image selected for the site design, the licensing / purchasing costs are extra (although generally not expensive).
